To elaborate more, what's something that you're really into (whether it be a hobby, a game, movie or series hyperfixation, etc) but you're really ashamed of liking at all? Basically a gulity pleasure kind of.

I'll start with two things i'm into:

1.Sonic.exe fan stuff, i'm not saying i like the original story at all because everyone knows it's literally the worst creepypasta of all time and i hate it a lot, i'm talking about stuff done by people as their own takes on that shitshow. Now of course i know you're wondering "How the fuck can you like shit inspired by a non-scary edgefest about Sonic the fucking Hedgehog?", well you see i've always been a sucker for horror or in this case things that are horror in theory, and i'm also a sucker for people taking other ideas and giving them their own spin, specially when the original idea they're basing their work on is shitty lol, so you know i really liked seeing people actually turning Sonic.exe out of all things into good fucking content, with a lot of good reinterpretations of the character and its story like Lord X (my personal fav), No More Innocence, Needlemouse, Sonic.EYX and Non-existent (yes i'm aware this sounds like i'm making words up it's pretty stupid lmfao). Now of course you still will be saying that it's still pretty dumb to try to make Sonic scary and i agree, but the thing is: 1. These fan recreations aren't edgy tryhards like the OG story with the excessive gore and the spooky ooky blue scrumbo killing his friends oh noes!!11!! Heck some of them are made by people who actually know to at least disturb someone. And 2. Anything can be scary if you put enough effort into it.

My point being that they don't try to be ultra scary or seriously at all, heck some actually legit succeed at being eerie and disturbing (No More Innocence). Also i think they're pretty cool characters and stories/fangames, i obviously don't get scared by them because i'm a grown ass dude who isn't really scared by a lot of things anymore but i can stlll apprecciate em and their merits. You can still laugh at me for liking spooky ooky animals with realistic bloody eyes ooh spooky tho, i can take it lmfao.

2.Learning with Pibby. For full context if you didn't know, it's an Adult Swim concept short for what could be a future series, not gonna explain the whole lore or the things that happen in the video so i will just link it lol

Basically this thing blew up and the whole internet was licking the boots of this short, and with popularity comes shitty fandoms and overexposure of said thing, and it was a lot of factors other than those, like it being exposed to kids (and we all know kids will like whatever they are not supposed to be into and how much they ruin that shit), it being used as kid bait by YouTube channels, FNF mods and people overhyping it (heck even one of the posts who were overhyping like the "scariest shit" became a copypasta, you might have probably seen it). There are other arguments people make like it being just a dumb official lost episode .exe creepypasta short (which i don't agree with since the concept is more of a modern Zalgo take). I still really like the concept and like i said i'm a sucker for horror (even if it's not scary) and another one of my weaknesses which i kinda hinted as is taking things that aren't supposed to be scary and turning them into eerie crap. That and the fact it's not another cheap cashgrab crossover, since it isn't used mainly to get more money but to tell a horror zombie apocalypse story. Sadly Pibby became a joke and isn't taken seriously at all these days which is why i don't talk about it that much unless i'm with friends and other people that enjoy it lmfao.

So yeah, i know this is a long read but you get the idea by just reading the first lines, just wanted to expose myself as well so people could laugh at me because let's be honest this is not a "no shame" thread, we are all gonna be making funny jokes about what we are into lmfao (as long as they are jokes). Dunno this might be an interesting topic i have no idea lol

I do too unironically, i love FNAF lore, tho i haven't played Security Breach yet so i'm not up to date with the lore lmfao. I was actually also gonna put FNAF and FNF in here but honestly, i don't think it's bad to be into those games and i'm not ashamed of liking them, people who just hate them for just being popular or just plain shitty reasons should just grow up and be respectful to people who like those franchises lmfao

Nah. Stuff is good to like and support. I think by now most people are aware of my contradictory taste, so nobody bats an eye when my playlist has Pantera followed by Miley.

Personally never been a fan of picking my nose but it does feel nice to get something stuck deep in there out once in a while so i understand what you mean lol

Disney Channel shows and movies. Shows like Wizards of Waverly Place, Hannah Montana and Sonny With a Chance. Movies like Camp Rock and High School Musical, and more. That era of Disney Channel was a huge part of my childhood, and I occasionally rewatch the shows and movies when I'm feeling super nostalgic. Some of it still holds up pretty well all these years later.

I also quite like FNAF. I don't play the games nor do I intend to because the gameplay isn't my thing, but I find the whole concept and lore super interesting and I always watch playthroughs when new games come out

I play the sims. I didn't wanna say that, But hell I drew fanart for the game and even uploaded them here so. I'm guilty of that :P Blame sims 4 going free.

I will stay away from the community tho like 20 feet away type of away. Its going to be kind of weird to be the only dude there. Not to mention too, The community is kind of deranged too, But yeah hate to admit it.

For some reason I binged a bunch of old Disney Channel movies a while back. The smart house one with Katey Sagal was so stupid. Halloween town was pretty fun, the second one was lame though. The one with Shia LeBouf as an autist was actually very good and not dated as hell.

I can understand being into those shows and movies, even tho i didn't grow up watching Disney Channel live action stuff (at least not a lot of it) because i thought it was just boring teenager stuff (yes pretty silly), but i have been watching some of those old shows recently, specially Wizards, and i see why people liked it back then, same with Nickelodeon live-action shows and movies.

I also really like FNAF, maybe a bit more than just quite, but like i said in a reply to another post, i don't think it's something to be ashamed of liking, unless we are back in 2014-16 again where people just hated it for being popular and other dumb reasons that weren't criticism lol.

Oh shit i love the Sims i'm ngl, those games are really fricking good so i understand why you're into them, there's not a lot to be ashamed of in that since lots of gamers would say the Sims are good, i enjoy myself a bit of Sims every now and then, didn't know about the community tho that's ass, glad that at least you get to enjoy the games without interacting with them.

I get that. Those shows can be childish and cheesy, but that's a part of the charm for me. Wizards has aged pretty well too, the cast all have amazing chemistry with one another and there are scenes that have legitimately made me laugh out loud.

Honestly those two are really based. I know some things about Chris Chan too and it's a pretty fascinating case file so i know why you would become a Christorian, really worth to learn about what to not do in the internet or just life in general from people like Chris, as well as to where to draw the line when it comes to trolling too

And god i fucking love YTPs too, not a connoisseur per se but i have watched them since i was a young kid with an internet access, and i also repeat phrases and get music poops stuck in my head from time to time, honestly pretty fucking raw ngl.

I used to make montage parodies (which are like YTPs on crack) back when those were a thing. It's quite simple if you use programs like Vegas instead of Premiere Pro which has a higher learning curve (although with a higher ceiling as a result).

But the best YTPs are based on their humour and not just on the CG. I outgrew them in 2015 but nothing since got me rolling more than the one where pingu rang a doorbell and it exploded, all out of left field (which is saying something for fucking montage parodies lol)
